Exhibition Guidelines

The Clearwater Arts Alliance (CAA) is committed to promoting and supporting the artistic endeavors of local artists through our newly established exhibition programs at the Clearwater Main Library gallery. Guided by our mission to nurture creativity and foster community engagement through the arts, we offer both three-month group exhibitions and short pop-up solo exhibitions, providing a platform for artists to showcase their work to the community. We welcome submissions from artists of all backgrounds and experience levels and strive to create an inviting environment for all participants.
Three-Month Exhibitions: Our three-month “Inspired by” themed exhibitions are open to local artists through a formal call for submissions. A selection panel will review all submissions and select the most outstanding works for exhibition. CAA will endeavor to display as many artworks as possible that meet the requirements and the theme.
Pop-Up Exhibitions: In addition to our three-month exhibitions, we are pleased to offer short pop-up solo exhibition opportunities exclusively for Clearwater artists, with an emphasis on new and emerging talent. A selection panel will review all submissions and select the most outstanding artists. Artist Selection and Participation: Selection for both three-month and pop-up exhibitions will be based on the artistic merit, originality, and relevance of the work to our community. Artists selected for exhibition will be notified in writing and will be required to sign a formal exhibition agreement that outlines the responsibilities and obligations of both the artist and the Clearwater Arts Alliance.
Terms and Conditions:
- Eligibility: All artists must be residents of Pinellas County. Pop-up exhibitions are intended for Clearwater-based residents.
- Originality: Submitted works must be original and created by the artist.
- Display and Installation: CAA reserves the right to make final decisions regarding the display and installation of the artwork.
- Liability: While every precaution will be taken to ensure the safety and security of the artwork, CAA is not responsible for any loss or damage to the artwork during the exhibition period.
- Promotion: By participating in the exhibition, artists grant CAA the right to use images of their artwork for promotional purposes.
- Sales: Artists may offer their work for sale during the exhibition. Any sales transactions will be conducted directly between the artist and the buyer. CAA does not take any commission on sales.
By submitting their work for consideration, artists acknowledge and agree to abide by these guidelines and the terms and conditions set forth by the Clearwater Arts Alliance.
